The Brutal scalps indicator is primarily designed to be used on the classic OHLC candle type and pulls out 90% of the trigger conditions out of those types of charts, however it can also be used in confirmation with Heikin ASHI candles. More on that in the strategy section.
In order to change the candle type , please go to the candle type selector and select Heikin Ashi type.You will notice that because of the way HA candles work you will get a decreased amount of signals and an increased amount of precision. But all this comes at a cost. Because HA candles are based on averages, the precision of the entry, stop loss and take profits also decrease. For this reason it is recommended to use HA candles for confirmation only.
We do not encourage or support any other type of candles.
Colored candles #
One of the most common questions we get is what do the purple and yellow candles mean .The yellow candles are bullish engulfing candles, while the purple candles are bearish engulfing candles. These candles are also highlighted because their volume exceeds that of the previous 10 candles.
